Some diners express disappointment when they arrive without a reservation, especially on busy nights when the restaurant is packed. Others mention that certain dishes can be hit-or-miss, depending on the day or time of the visit. A few guests find the size of the sharer platters not quite sufficient for larger groups. Although loved by many, the rib dishes can sometimes be overly saucy for those who prefer a less messy meal. Fortunately, the attentive staff often rectify any concerns, ensuring a pleasant dining experience overall.
Stopped in as we were looking for a bite to eat mid afternoon. Decided on the 2 courses deal. Had hashbrown for starters and my partner had haloumi, both tasted amazing. For mains we both had smash burgers and they were honestly the nicest burgers Ive eaten at a restaurant. We'd 100% come back again
THE BEST ROAST DINNER I’VE EVER HAD!!! My boyfriend and I hadn’t booked a table, they fit us in even though it was busy. The staff were all so lovely, and the food was unreal. I was in so much shock considering it was the first place we had looked at to eat as we’re from 3 hours away so didn’t know the area. We really feel like we got extremely lucky. Would 100% recommend and will be coming back!!
We booked for a party of 10, celebrating my mums birthday. From start to finish the service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was delicious as always. And even with pre ordering, food was still fresh. Gwen spent a lot of time with us and was absolutely fab, along with the rest of the team. Very good and would recommend! Thank you ☺️
We had a lovely meal. The staff were lovely. We definitely recommend and will visit again
Wow best food we have had in a long time. The 20 oz steak was huge and cooked to perfection and only £23. The 50/50 was lovely and had to take some home. I would highly recommend but wouldn't have starters again as the meals are huge. Will definitely be back and be aware you have to book a table. And we went on a Wednesday night and KIDS EAT FREE
Can't fault the staff they were so friendly and the food was just amazing and £25 for a 3 course mael on a Sunday lush. Four of us and food came out together ❤️
What a fantastic place!! Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table, also then offered a cocktail for the birthday boy. Menu is lovely, lunch menu is an absolute steal! Food was fresh, plentiful and delicious! I'd highly recommend The Mine, Neath!
